WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Fresh Pro Food Distributors, a food industry company based in West Caldwell, will be cutting 100 workers from its payroll this year, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) advisory on the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development website.

WARN notices offer protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of plant closings and mass layoffs.

Fresh Pro Food Distributors, which has a location at 2 Dedrick Place in West Caldwell, will be laying off a total of 100 workers between February and August, according to the notice.
