West Caldwell Issues Snow Alert: No Overnight Parking

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Will your car be parked in the right place if snow arrives, West Caldwell?

As the North Jersey area buckles down for a potential snowstorm forecast to hit on Wednesday or Thursday, West Caldwell officials issued an alert reminding residents to mind where they park their vehicles... or face the consequences.

The snowstorm is expected to bring 6 to 12 inches of snow, as well as some sleet, rain or ice, forecasters say.

The National Weather Service has issued a ”winter weather warning” for the entire state, except for Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties. Those counties have been issued a "winter weather advisory."

The West Caldwell Police Department issued the following alert on Wednesday:

"Due to the upcoming storm there will be no overnight parking on any West Caldwell roadways tonight and thru the duration of the impending cleanup. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation."
