Blood Supply Shortage Continues In Chatham, Emergency Drive Planned

CHATHAM, NJ — An "emergency" blood and blood platelet drive is taking place Dec. 3, at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township.

The blood drive will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m and the church is located at 240 Southern Blvd, in Chatham Township.

There is a summer blood shortage, according to information on the blood drive flyer and help is needed. The drive is sponsored by the Chatham Emergency Squad.

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted if space is available, according to the emergency squad. Donors are reminded to eat, drink, and bring their donor ID card or ID with their name and photo.
