Jersey Mike's In Chatham Donating All Wednesday Sales To Special Olympics

CHATHAM, NJ — Get a sub, send athletes to the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, says Jersey Mike's. The Chatham location is among the many participating in the company's "Day of Giving," donating 100 percent of all sales Wednesday toward getting athletes to the competition.

Every four years, more than 5,500 athletes and coaches compete in the Special Olympics USA Games. The next games will take place June 5-12 in Orlando, Florida.

Jersey Mike's holds a "Day of Giving" every year to culminate its "Month of Giving" campaign. For the first time ever, their eateries around the nation will donate to a single cause: supporting Special Olympics athletes.

In New Jersey, 108 Jersey Mike's locations will donate all sales to the games and the state programs attending the event. The funds will help nearly 140 New Jersey athletes attend the games, according to Jersey Mike's.

The Jersey Mike's in Chatham (641 Shunpike Rd.) is among the locations that will donate all of Wednesday's sales to the cause. The eatery is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
