Longtime Chatham Resident, Garden Club Member Dies At 80

Chatham, N.J. – A devout parishioner and lover of the outdoors, Elizabeth Ann Burke enjoyed spending time with her family and her flowers.

The longtime Chatham resident died recently at the age of 80.

Burke was born in Orange, New Jersey in 1936 and graduated Union High School before working as a Law Office Manager for John W. Taylor Esq. She was a longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Chatham for more than 40 years.

Burke was also a longtime member of the Town and Country Garden Club in Chatham.

Burke is survived by her husband, Michael, of 56 years; a son and daughter; and four grandchildren.
