CHATHAM, NJ — Good news for pet parents: a new veterinary care office has opened in Chatham, bringing a fresh perspective on client experience and pet care delivery.

Symbios Animal Health, a new entrant into the veterinary space, has opened at 588 Main St, Chatham.

Symbios' unique concierge-style veterinary hospital, according to Travis York, Chief Growth Officer, will limit the doctor-to-patient ratio to 25 percent of the industry average while providing all routine services to members.

The veterinary office's all-inclusive curated care model is geared toward those who consider their pet to be a member of the family, deserving of the same level of care as any of their other two-legged family members.

"When approached with the idea I was most excited to have the time to build a relationship and deep connections with my patients and their families. As a former hospital owner, I understand the stress on a doctor and the client to be moved through your appointment too quickly. I am committed to being there for our members," Symbios’ Chief Veterinary Officer and partner, Dr. Megan Armani said.

This emphasis on the relationship between the veterinary care team, the patient, and the client is not new in the field of veterinary medicine.

However, Symbios officials claim that as hospitals have grown in size, access to diagnostic tools has increased, and operational decision-makers have frequently relocated offsite, the level of personal touch has decreased.

Symbios is working to repair the relationship by refocusing on what has made veterinarians a part of the family for years.

"Seeing our team deliver on the vision of a next-level experience for our members combined with peace of mind and access to the best care inside an all-inclusive model, drives us to share this with the community," the cofounder and CEO of Symbios Animal Health, Dr. Nick Pope said.
