There is a small retail section with Italian products for people looking to make their own speciality dishes at home.

In the 2,300-square-foot space, their exclusive “Supper Club,” is expected to open in February, which will have its own special menu and Friday and Saturday night dinners.

Before opening, Bernardo - having grown up in Madison - previously said he frequently ate at Café Villa and looks forward to The Shop starting new dining traditions for local families.

“We hope our concept will be part of the community for many years to come,” he said.
