CHATHAM, NJ — The public is invited to meet members of the Chatham Township Police Department for a cup of coffee as part of the national Coffee with a Cop program, which provides an opportunity for people to get to know their officers.

The event takes place on Jan. 26 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Dunkin' Donuts at 641 Shunpike Road in Chatham. The public is invited to have a cup of coffee while getting to know the local police.

The mission of Coffee With A Cop Day is to break down barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers serving the community.
