CHATHAM, NJ — It's that time of year again in Chatham, and children all over town are preparing to write letters to Santa Claus in preparation for Christmas Eve.

Santa's elves are stopping in Chatham and setting up dedicated mailboxes at Nash Field and the Chatham Township municipal building for all neighborhood children to send personalized letters to the North Pole.

All kids should include the following information in their letters, officials said:

According to town officials, the elves will arrive on December 8 at 6 p.m., and the official ceremony will include the lighting of the holiday tree.

Christmas music will be played for everyone's enjoyment, and hot chocolate will be served to keep everyone warm.
