‘Sidewalk Sale Days’ Outdoor Market Event Now Open In Madison

MADISON, NJ - Open-air shopping and dining has begun in Madison as part of the city’s Sidewalk Sale Days, taking place now through Saturday.

The multi-day event offers a chance for residents to enjoy the late summer air while browsing downtown local businesses' current sale items.

Free shopper parking is available for two hours per car in the Green Avenue Parking Lot between the Presbyterian Church and Rose Garden Park on the corner of Green Avenue and Kings Road from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The Waverly Green, Cook Avenue, and Elmer Street parking lots also offer free shopper parking.

“If you need help finding a street space on the weekends, there are 371 spaces FREE and available in the parking lots on King Road,” the city said in a statement. “This includes Maple Avenue, Prospect Street, and Kings Road Lots. These lots are open and free for all 4 p.m. - 2 a.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. - 2 a.m. on weekends.”
