How do you know the teacher?

My Daughter

What does this person teach?

Special Education

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

I always thought that teaching was an 8 hour job. I watched finish a full day, 8 hours in the school. She had at least a one hour commute each way on top of this. Then she works at least another 1 to 2 hours, prepping for the next week or preparing for meetings. At least 10 to 15 hours of her weekends are spent on other school work. She is dedicated to her students and seeing that they overcome and strive with her help. All this while being a mother of two children under 5 years old.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

How hard she works, the amount of hours she works outside the classroom and her dedication to all the students she teaches.
