Two Movies Filming Throughout Chatham Borough

CHATHAM, NJ — Chatham Borough is a quintessential charming North Jersey town, and that charm is about to be captured on film.

Two separate movie crews will be coming to Chatham Borough in the next few weeks to film scenes from their productions at various sites around the borough.

According to Steve Williams, Chatham Borough administrator, film crews will operate on Fuller Avenue and Dempster Road as one of the locations, with the other filming taking place in the Fair Mount Cemetery.

Fair Mount Cemetery, located at 233 Hillside Avenue, was previously the location for a section of "Insidious 5 – Fear of the Dark," which was filmed in August 2022.

According to Williams, the two crews will film scenes for upcoming releases, "Y2K" and "It Ends With Us."

"It Ends With Us," which stars Blake Lively, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate, and Justin Baldoni, is a movie based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling 2016 romance novel of the same name.

According to IMDB, Lively plays Lily Bloom in the film, a young woman who moves to the city of Boston after college and decides to start her own business as a florist, only to fall in love with a young neurosurgeon, played by Baldoni.

Williams said that "It Ends With Us" will be filming in the borough on May 16.

"Y2K" is an upcoming disaster comedy film directed by Kyle Mooney and starring North Jersey native Rachel Zegler, Alicia Silverstone, Mason Gooding and Jaeden Martell.

According to IMDB, the film is about two high school students who make the decision to crash the last major celebration before the new millennium on New Year's Eve 1999.
