CHERRY HILL, NJ — Homes in Cherry Hill are significantly more affordable than the state's as a whole but rank among the priciest in Camden County.

Last week, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA) published its latest tax tables, which are based on 2022 data. The figures include the average residential-property value in each municipality, county and the state as a whole.

The average New Jersey home is valued at $351,702, according to state data. In Cherry Hill, homes average a value of $236,568.

Statewide, Cherry Hill's home values rank 383rd-highest out of 564 cities and towns. In Camden County, the township ranks eighth out of 36 municipalities.

The average residential property in Camden County is valued at $191,957.

The county's most-valuable homes are in Tavistock, where the tiny borough with a single-digit population averages $1.7 million on each property. Audubon Park had the lowest average, at $41,483.
