Cranford & Garwood Knights Join Forces for Worthy Charities

Press Release

On January 30th, the Cranford and Garwood Knights of Columbus Councils joined forces and held a Football Championship Sunday Fundraiser at the Columbian Club of Garwood Hall in Garwood. This worthy event was a tremendous success with over 100 guests attending, and by working together, the Councils were able to raise over $5,000 for our two worthy designated charities. Donations will be made to the Anne Salway Dolan Memorial Scholarship and to Cranford Brother Knight Bob Scheurer and his family to help with Bob’s courageous battle against Cancer. There are too many people to thank here with both Councils as this event was put together with only two weeks of prior planning. Based on the success of this event, both Councils will be doing some more events like this one and are in the process of planning another one on April 2nd for the NCAA Final Four Championship games to help and support another worthy cause that will be announced shortly.
