Mental Health Association to hold Annual Walk for Wellness & Recovery

Join MHANJ and host Bernie Wagenblast for our 16th Annual Walk at Nomahegan Park on June 10th for a fun family day with a boardwalk theme!

THE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION IN NEW JERSEY (MHANJ) and its partner, The National Center for Advocacy and Recovery (NCAAR) invite community organizations, neighbors, and friends to participate in their 16th Annual Walk for Wellness and Recovery on Saturday,

The Walk will take place in beautiful Nomahegan Park, Springfield Avenue in Cranford, NJ. Registration for the event is $25/adult (includes T-shirt), $10/12-17 year old’s, Free for age 12 and under with adult. 10:30am – Commence WALK for Wellness and Recovery

Our Walk will provide inspiration, enlightenment and education that will highlight pathways toward wellness and resilience for individuals living with mental illness and/or substance use disorder, their family members, behavioral health professionals and the public. As always one of our core goals is to reduce stigma associated with mental illness.

NEW THIS YEAR – fun and informative activities, including practical steps to help support everyone’s mental wellness. This year we are delighted to introduce a boardwalk theme with games and crafts associated with your best beach days. Event plans include an engaging emotional wellness presentation, yoga, music and much more.
