Lachs, Herrick, Carangelo On East Brunswick BOE: Unofficial Result

Voters elected a newcomer and two incumbents to the BOE, according to unofficial results from Middlesex County.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — With all 40 districts reporting, a newcomer and two incumbents were elected to the Board of Education in East Brunswick, according to unofficial results by Middlesex County.

Six candidates were seeking three seats on the East Brunswick Board of Education.

Board president Laurie Lachs garnered the most number of votes at 3,693, followed by newcomer Laurie Herrick at 3,414 and incumbent Mark Carangelo at 3,028. Incumbent Tim Cummings trailed Carangelo by just 13 votes (3,015). Adam Altman and Dhar Khona got 2,309 and 2,454 votes respectively.
