East Brunswick Honors Local Cubs Baseball Team For Achievements

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — During Monday’s meeting, a local cubs team was recognized for their achievements. Mayor Cohen and the Township Council present a proclamation to the 8U East Brunswick Cubs Baseball team for their accomplishments on the diamond.

The 8U Cubs have played together for two years and achieved a record of 61-14-2.

The Cubs have won eight championships, including beating the undefeated Berkeley Heights team to become the 2024 8U Middle Atlantic Regional Champions.

“There’s something special when a group of young men clicks along with their coaches at this young age. I can envision you have way more wins in your future as a team,” Councilwoman Dana Zimbicki said.
