'Aida' Comes to Old Library Theatre in Fair Lawn

The performance will be held weekends from Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 20.

The Fair Lawn community is invited to the performance of "Aida," presented by the Old Library Theatre on weekends from Friday, March 11 to Sunday, March 20. Friday and Saturday performances will be held at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Aida, an enslaved, Nubian princess, finds her heart entangled with Radames, an Egyptian soldier betrothed to the Pharaoh's daughter, Amneris, in this Elton John-Tim Rice pop opera. Aida is forced to weigh her heart against the responsibility she faces as leader of her people while her forbidden love blossoms. Aida and Radames's love for each other becomes a shining example of devotion that ultimately transcends the vast cultural differences between their warring nations, heralding a time of unprecedented peace and prosperity. Further information is available through the Old Library Theatre website.
