Ascendia Bank Makes Donations to Five Northern NJ Organizations

Recipients: Ridgewood YMCA, The Good Shepherd Mission, Passaic County Habitat for Humanity, The Apostles' House & CUMAC

Ascendia Bank, a 100-year-old financial institution formerly known as Glen Rock Savings Bank, has made charitable donations to a variety of organizations in the northern New Jersey communities it serves. The bank’s latest philanthropic efforts include donations to:

  • Ridgewood YMCA in Ridgewood ($2,500)
  • The Good Shepherd Mission, a drug and alcohol abuse rehabilitation center, in Paterson ($5,000)
  • Passaic County Habitat for Humanity in Paterson ($5,000)
  • The Apostles’ House, a shelter and social services organization in Newark ($5,000)
  • CUMAC, which is dedicated to hunger and its root causes, in Paterson ($5,000)
