Bergen County's 'Best' Fireworks Display Is On July Fourth

Hundreds of people will line up to see the Ridgewood Independence Day parade and attend the Fourth of July fireworks display.

Ridgewood's annual Fourth of July fireworks display, named the best in Bergen County for more than a decade by 201 Magazine, will begin at 6 p.m.

The parade starts at 10 a.m., rain or shine. The parade runs along Godwin Avenue and onto Ridgewood Avenue through the downtown, before going on Maple Avenue and ends at Leuning Park. Residents will set up chairs along the route days in advance, securing the best possible spots.

Gates open for the fireworks display at Veterans Field at 6 p.m. and will close at 9 p.m. The ceremony has been named the best in Bergen County for more than a decade. No dogs will be admitted, per a village ordinance.
