Fair Lawn Centenarian Gertrude 'Fuss' Mahon Died Feb. 18

She was a faithful parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn.

Gertrude “Fuss” M. (Turner), 100, of Fair Lawn passed away on Thursday, Feb. 18. Born and raised in Paterson, N.J., she resided in Fair Lawn since 1951. A faithful parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn, she was a member of the Rosary Society and St. Anthony’s Guild. She was a longtime benefactor of Sisters of the Poor in Totowa and a member of the Georgian Court Alumni Association. Fuss enjoyed gardening, swimming and many summers spent in Greenwood Lake, N.Y.

Beloved wife of the late Justin Mahon. Loving and devoted mother of Justin David Mahon and wife Gina, William Mahon and wife Tricia and the late Elisabeth Mahon. Cherished grandmother of Sarah Faye Mahon, Timothy Mahon and fiancée Caitlin Warbelow, Emily, Hillary, Eoin and Aiofe Mahon. Dear sister of the late James K. Turner. Dear cousin of Richard O’dea and wife Barbara.
