Fair Lawn Elections 2021: Incumbents Hope To Retain Council Seats

Deputy Mayor Josh Reinitz and Council Member Gail Rottenstrich are seeking re-election while facing two Republican challengers.

Reinitz was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2018. He was named deputy mayor in January 2020. Rottenstrich was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2017 and served as deputy mayor in May 2018.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Two Democratic incumbents are seeking to retain their seats on the Fair Lawn Borough Council, but face two Republican challengers.

Deputy Mayor Josh Reinitz and Council Member Gail Rottenstrich are running for the two open seats, while Republicans Cindy Montano and Glen Callons will serve as their opponents.

Reinitz was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2018. He was named deputy mayor in January 2020. Rottenstrich was elected to the Fair Lawn Council in 2017 and served as deputy mayor in May 2018.

This past Monday was the deadline for candidates to submit their names to run.

However, the deadline for independent candidates (not running under any official party) who wish to run is June 8, 2021.
