FAIR LAWN, NJ — As the war continues in Ukraine, the Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary Club is inviting the public to attend a concert this Saturday to raise funds for humanitarian aid for Ukrainians, the club said on Facebook.

100% of the proceeds from the event, which will take place in the Memorial Pool parking lot, goes to support Ukrainians, the club said.

"It is important to support Ukraine, because as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, 'Life's most persistent and urgent question is — What are you doing for others?'," said Ola Parks, a Ukrainian-born American, who is helping to organize the event. "Fair Lawn Sunrise Rotary believes in serving others above self."
