Fair Lawn Rower Tracy Eisser Will Compete At Rio Olympic Games

Tracy Eisser won a gold medal at the 2015 World Rowing Championships.

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Tracy Eisser will row for Team USA at the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in August.

Eisser, 26, has enjoyed great success since she began rowing in 2008 for Cornell University. She was graduated from the university in 2012. She will be on the women's quadruple sculls.

She won gold and bronze at the World Rowing Championships in 2015 and 2014, respectively, and bronze and silver at the World Racing Cup II in 2015, and 2014, respectively. She was on the senior national team both years.

She was a track and field athlete at Fair Lawn High School, participating in the high school. She won a state championship as a senior.

Eisser enjoys doing crossword puzzles and watching movies in her spare time.
