Nightly Route 4 Lanes Closures Underway

The right and center lanes from the Route 208 interchange in Fair Lawn to Forest Avenue in Paramus will be closed.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Two lanes on both sides of Route 4 will be closed beginning Friday, and for the next several nights, for paving, officials announced.

The right and center lane on Route 4 from the Route 208 interchange in Fair Lawn and going until just east of Forrest Avenue will be closed.

The closures will begin at 9 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. Saturday and repeat for several nights until work is complete, the state Department of Transportation announced.

The work is being coordinated with local police and will be done overnight to minimize disruptions to traffic and businesses in the area.

The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather and other factors, officials said.
