Saddle Brook Athletes Competing in NJ Special Olympics

The athletes will compete in the giant slalom, super-G, and time trial events.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — Two borough athletes will compete in three events at the 2019 Special Olympics of New Jersey this week.

Angelina Pallotta and Thomas Greene are participating in the figure skating pairs and free skating synchronized events. Pallotta is also participating in the figure skating singles competition.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics New Jersey. Six participants from the Bayonne Recreation Department and 12 from the E.R. Johnstone Training center in Bordentown represented New Jersey at the Eastern Regional Special Olympics at the University of Maryland in 1969.
