Saddle Brook Woman Wins County-Wide Art Competition

Winning pieces will be displayed in November at a free exhibit.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ – A township woman was among the winners of a county-wide art competition and will have their work displayed next month in Hackensack.

Sharon Savitz was named one of the winners of the 55th Annual Bergen County Art in the Park show.

She was selected on Oct. 12, during an art show and concert at Van Saun County Park. More than 100 artists were represented in the show, according to the county.

A free art exhibit showcasing all winners of the will be on display from Nov. 5 through 26 in the lobby of One Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack.

The art show can be viewed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
