Stop & Shop and NJ Devils Team Up to Host a Shopping Spree

Stop & Shop and the New Jersey Devils made this Monday morning quite special for Air Force Senior Master Sergeant Ayshah Tual and her two children. New Jersey Devils Center Curtis Lazar, and the NJ Devils Mascot, took Ayshah and her children shopping at the Clifton Stop & Shop. Stop & Shop covered the cost of their shopping spree.

Senior Master Sergeant Ayshah Tual enlisted into the United States Air Force in 2001 and has now served for over 23 years. She has received many awards for her service and has been deployed to support ‘Operation Enduring Freedom’, and to support ‘Operation Inherent Resolve’. Ayshah and her family are big Devils fans and in honor of Military Appreciation Month, Stop & Shop and the Devils wanted to celebrate and thank Ayshah for her service to our country.

Ayshah received balloons, flowers, and Devils gear. Curtis Lazar was drafted by the Ottawa Senators with the 17th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft. In 2023, he was traded from the Vancouver Canucks to the New Jersey Devils, and this past season he recorded 7 goals and 18 assists in 71 games played. During his 10-year NHL career, Lazar has played in 524 games, and posted 45 goals and 75 assists, tallying 120 points.
