Buddy Hackett's Former Fort Lee Home Sells Ahead Of Auction

The Bluff Road home was sold to a buyer hours before bidding was to begin.

FORT LEE, N.J. — A Bluff Road home formerly owned by comedian Buddy Hackett was sold to a private buyer hours before it was set to go to auction.

The price on the 6,500-square-foot home was not disclosed by Guernsey's, a New York-based auction house responsible for selling the property.

Guernsey's said in a statement that buyer was "very eager" to purchase the property. The Record reported that owner Arthur Imperatore accepted the offer from "a local family."
