No Primary Contest In Monmouth County Commissioner Election

Republican incumbent Sue Kiley of Hazlet, Democrat Danielle Mastropiero of Keyport running unoppposed in the June 4 primary election.

FREEHOLD, NJ — There is one seat open in 2024 on the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners, but there will be no primary race in either party.

The Republican incumbent Susan M. Kiley of Hazlet, supported by the Monmouth County Republican Organization, is running unopposed in the primary, according to the Monmouth County Clerk's Office

In the Democratic primary, Danielle Mastropiero of Keyport, supported by Monmouth County Democrats, is also running unopposed.

Kiley is serving her second, three-year term on the county board.

Mastropiero sought election last year for state Assembly in the 13th district.

The two candidates will now face each other in the Nov. 5 general election.
