Crash With Injuries Shuts Down I-76 Lanes In Gloucester City: Officials

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ — A crash with injuries Wednesday afternoon prompted the closure of several lanes on Interstate 76 in Gloucester City, officials said.

The crash, reported at 1:04 p.m., occurred on I-76 westbound — west of Exit 1B to Interstate 295, according to the NJ Department of Transportation.

Details on the crash and the severity of the injuries weren't immediately available. Patch contacted authorities for additional information but did not immediately receive a response.

The four leftmost lanes are closed, leaving two lanes open as of this writing. Expect delays of 5 to 10 minutes, NJDOT said.
