Pair Walked Away From 'Suspicious' Apartment Fire In Gloucester Twp.: Police

Police asked for help identifying the pair who they say left the area of the apartment blaze that displaced a resident.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Gloucester Township apartment fire is being investigated as a suspicious incident, police said. Authorities shared footage of two unidentified people who walked away from the area of the blaze, which displaced a resident, according to law enforcement.

Crews were dispatched at about 9:23 p.m. Tuesday to the fire at Building 900 of the Millbridge Gardens complex. Two people left the area at around that same time, police said.

Police shared surveillance footage Wednesday of the pair, which includes two brief clips of them walking. Watch below:

Police asked the public for help with identifying the pair, who they labeled as persons of interest. The investigation remains active, and more video may become available soon, police said.

Several people had called 911 to report fire on the second floor of the two-story building, according to fire officials. No injuries were reported, but one resident was displaced because of water damage, police said.

The building is on Midway Drive by Conestoga Road.
