Bell Works Hosts Annual Career Day

Over 1,000 job seekers attended the event.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Bell Works hosted its annual Career Day event on June 21 with over 1,000 people in attendance.

Hosted at the former Bell Labs campus, attendees were able to connect with Bell Works tenants through various networking opportunities throughout the day.

Participants engaged in career-focused workshops and attended the keynote panel “Ahead of the Trend: The Future of Work." The panel provided valuable insights on the evolving job market and equipped participants with knowledge on how to advance their careers.

Moderated by npz studio+ Head of Marketing Brooke Petrany and SPHR, Atrium Vice President of People & Engagement Cara Zibbell, the panel featured speakers such as Northeast Financial Network Chief Growth Officer MaryAnn Patton, Adecco Area VP Jason Guggisberg and Fairleigh Dickinson University President Michael Avaltroni.

Joanna Chavers, the executive director of talent strategy for Atrium, said that Atrium was excited to join the Career Day event for the second year and to “share our love for the Metroburb with prospective new talent.”

“In addition to providing candidate coaching support for job seekers through our Professional Coaching services, Atrium hosted a complimentary on-site workshop aimed at helping attendees optimize their digital profiles," Chavers said.

Inspired by Somerset Development CEO and Founder Ralph Zucker said Bell Works’ Career Day is a “cornerstone event” that highlights their “commitment to community empowerment” through connecting local professionals with valuable career opportunities.
