Mrs. Allen was my (daughter's) 2nd grade teacher this past school year.

What does this person teach?

2nd Grade

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mrs. Allen is the best teacher ever! She never yells—even when the boys act up—and is always very kind to the class.

She is great at teaching math! For example, when I didn't know how to regroup, she helped me understand it. At the beginning of the year, I was horrible at math but now I have great grades.

Mrs. Allen loves reading just as much as I do. She helped me so much that I read the whole Harry Potter series in two months this Spring!

Mrs. Allen is the best teacher in the whole world. I wish she could be my teacher in 3rd grade and every year after until college!!! I LOVE HER!!!!!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Mrs. Allen brings us outside for a bit EVERY afternoon (in addition to recess!) to get our sillies out so we can focus when we do our work. It's so fun—I really love it!!! She is the best teacher in the whole world!!!
