Fun For The Whole Family At Walnford Day Sunday, May 20

The Monmouth County Park System is celebrating Walnford Day this Sunday, May 20 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Historic Walnford in Upper Freehold

UPPER FREEHOLD, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System is celebrating Walnford Day this Sunday, May 20 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Historic Walnford, Walnford Road in Upper Freehold.

During this family-friendly event, visitors can tour the Waln House from attic to cellar, play old-fashioned games, and enjoy hands-on activities. Demonstrations for the day include spinning, weaving, woodworking and blacksmithing. There will be a butter making (and tasting) activity. Visitors will also have the chance to try their hand at quill pen calligraphy. Horse-drawn wagon rides will be offered from 1-4 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
