Holmdel Road Traffic Pattern Changing This Week

HOLMDEL, NJ — Expect another change in the traffic pattern on Holmdel Road between Route 520 and Roberts Road this week.

There will be an alternating traffic pattern beginning Tuesday at 7 a.m. until approximately 5 p.m., Holmdel police said. The work is expected to last from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to Friday.

Businesses on Holmdel Road are open and can be accessed via the new traffic pattern. Delays are expected, police said, and recommended using alternate routes.

The road work has been part of a New Jersey Natural Gas Co. gas regulator project that the state Board of Public Utilities is allowing to continue while the project is being contested in court by the township.

Work on the road has taken place fairly consistently since early June.
