Holmdel Teen Qualifies For Junior PGA Championship In Kentucky

HOLMDEL, NJ — Megha Ganne (right) of Holmdel qualified for the Girls 43rd Junior PGA Championship after capturing first place in the Girls 13-15 Division and claiming second place overall in the recent NJPGA Junior Section Championship, which took place at Rossmoor Golf Club.

Ganne, who finished one stroke behind Ami Gianchandani of Watchung, NJ will now have the opportunity to compete among 144 individuals in the Girls 43rd Junior PGA Championship at Kearny Hill Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky on July 9-12.

The 14-year old Ganne, who will compete in her first Junior PGA Championship, is no stranger to the national spotlight, as she has already competed in the U.S. Women’s Amateur, U.S. Girls Junior and Drive, and Chip and Putt National Championship at Augusta National last year.
