HOLMDEL, NJ - Holmdel is about to have a "Situation".

Two Situations to be exact, as Jersey Shore star and Holmdel resident Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and wife Lauren announced the sex of their first child via social media on Dec. 8.

“Gym Tan We’re having a baby boy,” Sorrentino wrote on Twitter alongside four photos of the couple posed next to a Christmas tree with blue decorative lights.

The caption is a reference to the reality star's "Jersey Shore" catchphrase "gym, tan, laundry."

The parents-to-be elaborated further on the @itsbabysituation Instagram account, which touts over 137,000 followers.

“My parents were waiting to see if they could host my first party for the reveal, but because of the [coronavirus pandemic], they decided to be safe, most especially for me,” the caption reads.

“Mama & Daddy are thrilled and Mama is about to start full on nursery planning!”

Lauren, 35, is due May 2021.

Former “Jersey Shore” cast member Sorrentino, 38, is a Manalapan native and Manalapan High School graduate. The Sorrentinos tied the knot in 2018 (on an episode of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation), residing in Long Branch until the following year.

The couple moved to a $1.8 million seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion in Holmdel in 2019.
