Local Mom Goes To The 'Ends Of The Earth' For Her Kids

HOLMDEL-HAZLET, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Louis Riccardi who nominated Danielle Riccardi of Holmdel-Hazlet.

What makes this mom extra special?

She works full-time at Bayshore Hospital as a PCT. She goes to school for nursing and is the best mother to our two children, Louie and Carmela. Somehow she still finds the time to go above and beyond for our family. She’s the first one to drop what she’s doing to help anybody out. She goes to the ends of the earth to make sure our kids have the best lives ever.

Why do you feel this mom deserves the spotlight?

She lives her life for her children and her family. She’s the hardest worker I know. I’ve never met somebody more dedicated to her job and her family in my life.
