$1M Powerball Prize Claimed In Monmouth County

New Jersey Lottery officials released a list of $1 million prizes that were claimed in the third quarter of 2021.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — A prize worth $1,000,000 from a Powerball ticket sold in Marlboro has been claimed.

The lottery player got the ticket at the Morganville Exxon, located at 469 Route 79.

The player matched four out of the five numbers in the Aug. 30 2021 drawing of the Powerball, winning the $1,000,000 third-tier prize.

New Jersey players took home that day an estimated $107,463 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

Players who win $599.99 or less from the New Jersey Lottery can cash their winning prize at any of the Lottery’s nearly 7,000 retailers. Those who win over $600, however, have to file a claim with the Division of Lottery.

Each month, the Division of Lottery receives approximately 4,000 claims.

  • Essex - $1,000,000 (Blazing Hot 7s)
  • Hudson - ($1,000,000 Spectacular)
