New Amazon Fresh Location To Open In Holmdel: Reports
The technology-oriented grocery store will open a location at Commons at Holmdel shopping center, according to Asbury Park Press.
HOLMDEL, NJ — A new Amazon Fresh location is set to open at the Commons at Holmdel shopping center.
The technology-oriented grocery will occupy the former Best Market location, according to Asbury Park Press.
Although the company refused to confirm its plans, the typical green and black stripes that characterize Amazon Fresh stores have been installed outside the Commons at Holmdel location, the publication reported.

Another location is also set to open in Eatontown at the former Toys R Us store on Route 35.
According to the tech giant, Amazon Fresh offers everything you would typically find at a grocery store, including produce, meats and prepared foods, "with the low prices you expect from Amazon."

They were also designed to make the checkout process more convenient, with the Amazon Dash Cart option, which enables customers to skip the checkout line.
There are a total of 19 Amazon Fresh stores across the country, according to the retailer's website. The two new locations would be the first ones in New Jersey.
Only trial and paid members of Amazon Prime and Amazon Prime Student are eligible to shop at Amazon Fresh, as well as their guests.
