Obituary: Margaret L. Hanlon, 97: Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great - Grandmother of Holmdel Family

Margaret L. Hanlon was the beloved mother of two daughters, and was a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Margaret L. Hanlon, 97, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Care One King James in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

Margaret was born and raised in Jersey City and Port Monmouth. She moved to Winfield Park, NJ, where she and her beloved husband, Stephen, raised their two daughters, June and Carol. Margaret worked many years and retired from Wing Mfg. Co., in Linden. She was an active member in the Senior Citizens of Winfield Park, and a long-time member of Grace Episcopal Church in Linden.

After the passing of her husband, Stephen in 1990, Margaret moved to Middletown to be close to her family. She became an active member of St. Clement’s Episcopal Church in Belford.

Margaret loved to crochet, do arts and crafts and listen to music from the 40’s and 50’s. Her true love in life was her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, and she will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Margaret is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Stephen J.; sister, Dorothy Hanlon and brother, John Wehman. Margaret is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, June and Fred Schultz of Oldsmar, Fla. and Carol and John Revolinsky of Holmdel; grandchildren, Michael Schultz and wife Lorna, Stephen Schultz and wife Kim, Garrett Revolinsky and wife Laura and Suzanne Navarro and her husband Ronald; great-grandchildren, Stephen and Alex Schultz, Brian and Bradley Schultz, Christian and Alexandra Revolinsky and Chase Navarro; sister, Roberta Conti of Middletown and sister-in-law, Alice Craig of California.

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Wednesday,December 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, located at 90 Kings Highway in Middletown. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Margaret’s memory to Alzheimer’s disease research. John F. Pfleger Funeral Home in Middletown is in charge of arrangements.
