Obituary: Patrick E. Flanagan, 48, of Keansburg: Former Monmouth County Park Ranger, Probation Officer, and Knight of Columbus

Patrick E. Flanagan was also a graduate of Kean University, and avid Notre Dame fan.

Patrick E. Flanagan, 48, of Keansburg, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on November 24, 2014 at his home.Patrick was born on September 7, 1966 in New York, New York.

After graduating high school Patrick enrolled in Kean University, there he received his bachelors degree. After moving to Keansburg he worked as a Monmouth County Park Ranger. He then went to work as a Senior Probation Officer when he spent most of his career.

Patrick was a third degree Knights of Columbus, an avid sports fan that loved his Notre Dame and Giants. He loved fishing and bagpipes. He truly will be missed by all who knew him.

Patrick is predeceased by his father Thomas. He is the beloved son of Aileen. Patrick is survived by his daughter Isabella. He is also the loving brother of Mary Kate Edward, and John.

Patrick will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1735 Route 35 in Middletown on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Anne’s in Keansburg at 10:15 am on Saturday morning. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery in Leonardo.
