$4M Mega Millions Ticket Sold In NJ

The winning ticket matched five of five white balls drawn and was purchased with the Megaplier option, according to officials.

HAZLET, NJ — A winning Mega Millions ticket for the July 23 drawing was sold at Laurel Market in Hazlet, according to NJ Lottery officials.

The ticket matched five out of five white balls drawn and was purchased with the Megaplier option, which multiplied the prize total to $4,000,000.

Alongside the winning ticket, 28 lottery players matched 4 out of 5 white balls drawn, making each ticket worth $500. Five of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, officials said, which then multiplied the prizes to $2,000.

Overall, 30,963 other NJ players took home $174,674 in prizes ranging from $2 to $800, according to officials.

The winning numbers for Tuesday’s drawing were 03, 09, 14, 26 and 51. The Gold Mega Ball was 21 and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.

The jackpot now rolls to $306 million for the next drawing to be held on Friday at 11 p.m., officials said.
