Community Garden Accepting New Members In Hopatcong

There are limited plots available at the garden this season, with new members invited to join until April 25 or when all spots are taken.

HOPATCONG, NJ — Though winter is still here, the Hopatcong Community Garden is thinking spring and the gardening season.

The Community Garden has announced it has spots available for the 2022 gardening season, according to its Facebook page.

The garden has 46 total plots at its location on 107 Bell Avenue, which is near the hardware store and skate park.

There are 120 or 140 square foot plots with full fencing, full sun and water hydrants, according to the group. New members are welcome to join until April 25 or when spots are fully taken at the garden.

Dues for the season, which lasts from May 1 to Oct. 15, are $25, the group said.
