Franklin Business Donates Car to Project Self-Sufficiency
Non-Profit Agency Seeks Used Cars in Good Condition
Project Self-Sufficiency recently received a donation of a pre-owned car in good condition from Rich and Sheri Pasuit, owners of Franklin business Dane Motors. The non-profit agency gratefully receives used vehicles in good condition for distribution to individuals in need of transportation to school, employment, medical appointments, and family activities.
Sheri Pasuit noted that giving back to the community and helping others is part of the Dane Motors business plan, and they intend to continue supporting Project Self-Sufficiency as additional opportunities arise, “My husband and I want to strengthen both Franklin and the larger Sussex County community.”
“It is extremely difficult to live and work in our community without access to a reliable vehicle,” commented Deborah Berry-Toon, Executive Director of Project Self-Sufficiency. “Many of our participants are in desperate need of a car, and we are delighted to be able to pass donated vehicles in good condition along to them. Project Self-Sufficiency has been fortunate to be the recipient of several vehicles from individuals and area businesses, and we will continue to welcome the donation of good quality, pre-owned vehicles from our neighbors for families in need.”
