In a statement emailed to Patch by Oroho's office early Wednesday afternoon, he called the election, "a victory for the average person who works hard, raises a family, and minds their own business."

“Statewide, while some races still remain uncalled," Oroho added, "we are certainly headed for legislative gains.”

Oroho also said that the "Republican team in Sussex County won more than two-to-one and the ballot question to investigate Phil Murphy’s decision to send those with COVID into nursing and veterans’ homes passed four-to-one."

"Thank you for the overwhelming support," said Space. "We'll continue to fight for you in Trenton.

"I think people have had enough," Wirths told Patch on Wednesday morning, stating he's seen a "Red Wave" crest throughout a number of New Jersey races. "The election showed the whole frustration of the people."

The results of all of these races will be official once the Sussex, Morris and Warren County Clerks Offices certifies each of them, after all mail-in ballots and early votes are tallied.
