Slippery Roads Close Schools Across Sussex County

Hopatcong schools were closed Wednesday morning as a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect into the evening.

HOPATCONG, NJ — Snow accumulated across Sussex County early Wednesday closing schools in Hopatcong, Sparta, and other districts as the county remained under a Winter Weather Advisory late in the morning.

The National Weather Service called for the advisory to last until 7 p.m. Wednesday. The area may see up to 4 inches pile up before precipitation ends this evening.

NWS reported slippery conditions, and the following Sussex County schools were closed on Wednesday, according to nj.com:
