"Particularly heavy snowfall will be possible around the time of the morning commute, with snowfall rates of around 1 to 2 inches per hour possible," weather experts said.

Weather experts advised that more than 6 inches of snowfall can lead to many accidents and spin-outs on roadways, and severe travel delays on the air and in the ground. People are advised to stay indoors and not travel by vehicle, and to pack a winter supply kit that has warm clothes, cell chargers, water, and a flashlight if they must drive.
