SPARTA, NJ — Sparta Township Mayor Christine Quinn and Sussex County Chamber of Commerce President Tammie Horsfield joined developers and listing agents recently for the groundbreaking of a new 27,000 square foot facility near Route 15.

Construction should be completed by the end of 2021 for the White Lake Commerce Park, which will include the expansive facility plus 12 subdivided lots on 31.54 acres near the NYS&W freight line, less than a mile from Route 15, on 6 Aaron Way.

“The Township of Sparta, Sussex County Economic Development Partnership, Inc. and the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce welcome this new development and look forward to its successful completion and the benefits that come with this kind of project,” Horsfield said.

According to a news release the Berardi Development Company will execute the construction, with John Schilp of NAI James E. Hanson as the listing agent for the available space at the Commerce Park.

“Congratulations to the Berardi Development Company on this exciting new 27,000 square foot investment located in Sparta Township’s newest industrial park, White Lake Commerce Park,” Horsfield added. “We are especially excited that this new building is located in Sparta’s Economic Development Zone, a zone which will allow office, research and industrial uses in a campus-like setting, that has good access to Route 15 and the railroad.”
